hmm what to say?
writing a fantasy story although the technique is simple, come up with a name for a world, backstories for creatures inhabbiting, and then come up with a plot, i cant come up with backstories. i mean, there are far to many variables. were they aquatic/amphibian/mamal/reptillian/avian? how did this effect how they lived? did it create problems with trade? alliances? are they the only of the type?

did they fight in wars? how many? why did they participate? to defend their people? for the sake of a kill? hated other races? allies in danger?
how many lost in the war? who won? did it effect alliances? are they usualy peaceful? are they planning another war? what did they loose in the war? vengeful about that? declaring peace?

How many of the race are there? are they going extinct? if so why? if not how do they survive? natural enemies?

are they educated? what language do they speak? does the language effect alliances? hated or loved by other races?

overall i'm not inventive enough to work out all of these angles, i hope to run into more opportunities to understand each race i make and how building them works. but for now sci-fi is where i shall spin my yarns. and i will finish this new story. i has most of it planned.
